ok, so...

well, i'm doing a good job at avoiding drama in college so far, but a few of my friends definitely aren't. i'm doing my best to keep out of it, but i'm definitely leaning towards one side cause the other one seems so wrong. and i hate how much i feel like it's wrong, because i feel like i was almost on the other side once before but i definitely didn't take it that far. i wouldn't want to. i hate when people.... hate me. but, i don't think there's anyone that hates me now. that's always a good thing. sorry if you're reading this now and have no idea what i'm saying - i'm kinda just writing this for me. but yeah, i've heard so many sides of this story, i'm not really sure what to think. well, actually... i'm just gonna stick with my opinion. but so many people have so many different thoughts.

i also hate when people act like different people when they're around different people. when people try to please whoever's there - to be cool depending on whoever they're trying to please's standards of "cool." i also feel like i said "people" a whole lote in that paragraph. gosh people.

i don't like when people have bad hygiene.

i made wind ensemble this semester again! 3rd chair! right behind the 5th year senior and the grad student! pretty exciting. they're both gonna be gone next year spring semester, i believe. wow. we have a pretty young section. i hope we can handle it.... also, i really like the solo that grymes (my clarinet teacher) gave me - it's by saint-saens. the beginning also kinda reminds me of a song by ludo (the horror of our love) which is a really random song - but just the first few measures of both songs.

so i've been sitting in the laundry room forever. so bored. my roommate went on a date. i didnt. everyone's gone for the long weekend. i'm not. man i'm bored.

ask me questionssss! please! http://www.formspring.me/lauraturk

  1. I like Saint-Saens and The Horror of Our Love, so it must be a pretty awesome solo.

  2. haha, yes! i like it a lot! it's definitely not the same as the horror of our love past the first couple measures, though. but when i was playing them i was like, "if i changed this rhythm a little, whoa! it sounds like ludo!" haha
